New TRUTH Articles

Truth

One of my favorite monthly publications comes to my Email box. I am always blessed by the articles it contains. Most of the writing is done by my friend, Roger Campbell, but some are from his son-in-law, Chad Dollahite. Chad is also a great gospel preacher and excellent writer. Also, two other great writers are in the two issues we combine in this post. We have listed below the January and February articles in TRUTH. Ten excellent studies from Scripture! It is always pleasant to find in the Email box the next issue of TRUTH from Roger D. Campbell. He is a great Bible student and he teaches God’s truth in an easily understood fashion. I have high regard for his love for lost souls and his dedicated work in both domestic and foreign fields of labor. Please take a look at these important studies.   1. Prophets of God in the First Century Church

Fulfilled Bible prophecy is evidence that the Bible’s message came from the mind of God. We thrill to read of the foretelling of the virgin birth of the Christ (Isaiah 7), the coming fall of Babylon (Isaiah 13), and the influential role of King Cyrus (Isaiah 44).   1. Lessons We Can Learn from David Sparing King Saul

King Saul was granted the privilege of being the first human king to rule over the nation of Israel. The message of 1 Samuel 18 shows how the relationship between Saul and a young man named David was soured. When Saul heard some in Israel praising David more than they praised the king himself, he was extremely upset. Saul was angry, he was afraid of David, he kept his eye on him, he counted David as an enemy, and more than once he tried to kill him.   1. Do You Find Worship Boring?

“Boring is defined as someone or something dull or uninteresting” [ http://www.yourdictionary.com ]. As humans, we find certain things and certain people interesting; at the same time, hearing someone discuss other topics may put us to sleep, as we have zero interest in those matters.   1. 1 Corinthians 15.1-8—The Gospel

The theme of the fifteenth chapter of 1 Corinthians is “The Resurrection.” Paul writes about Jesus’ own resurrection from the dead, he notes the consequences which would follow if there were no resurrection, and he speaks of the future resurrection which will occur when the Christ comes again. Truth 2017 is now available on this site. One of my friends whom I truly admire, respect, and appreciate is Roger D. Campbell. He has spent many years in the foreign mission field. During that time he took it upon himself to learn two of the most difficult languages on earth: Mandarin Chinese and Russian. I was present in the assembly when he preached his first sermon in the Russian language in Kiev.

Roger is a great student of the Bible. For many months I have received from him his monthly publication, Truth, by Email. On the previous Maple Hill website I posted many of his Truth issues (with permission). Since we now have this new site I am combining all of last years’ issues into one PDF file. I then will begin posting the monthly.

Each issue  of Truth 2017 contains four one-page articles. Each will have an Old Testament article and one New Testament article, plus two other topical articles. I am listing those Bible text articles with page numbers as found in the combined issue. I am listing them in Bible order. Please download this PDF, read and study it, and then tell others where they can come to receive it, as well.
